Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a home? In our house in central Kiruna we live on the ground floor and guests stay with us on the upper storey, sharing our entrance and hallway.
Staying with us you have your own living area as well as a bedroom, so there's plenty of space to relax in. There are facilities for making drinks, and access to a fridge, and there's a separate guest bathroom and toilet. In the mornings we provide a generous breakfast in our own living room downstairs.
We like to have guests in our home, and we look forward to meeting you.
68 degrees bed and breakfast is also ideally suited for groups and families ‐ booking both our bedrooms means you also have two living areas and the feeling of having your own apartment. We can accommodate up to five people.
Our wooden house was built in the 1920s and was extended in the 1980s. On one side we look out to the open landscape, and yet we are only a ten minute walk away from anywhere you might want to go in town. We don't promise you the northern lights, but if they appear you can see them from our garden.
Staying in Kiruna means you can experience a fascinating old mining town with a challenging future ‐ the town is having to move ‐ as well as be able to access beautiful open landscape. There are plenty of companies in town offering guided tours and outings, but we also encourage you to think of exploring independently ‐ some of the most memorable experiences can be had this way. If you book with us we can help with advice and suggestions on how to do this.
There's nothing to pay when you book ‐ ‐ we take full payment when you arrive, and cancellation is free up to 48 hours beforehand.
We offer special discounts for booking as a group, and for booking for three nights or more.
